NATIONAL FRAGRANCE WEEK: A NEW CHAPTER IN THE HERMÈS TRADITION

Posted on by Cameron Tewson

Cleverly, Hermès has decided to enrich one of its most famous collections: that of the gardens of Hermès. Introducing Un Jardin Sur La Lagune. Simple but elegant. For the latest edition to the Hermès collection, esteemed nose of the Parisian house, Christine Nagel looked to the Garden of Eden, located on the Venetian island of Giudecca.

The fragrances focuses the ultimate scent of relaxation, as if to give us a nap in the shade of a tree on a beautiful sunny day, while being carried away by the sound of the waves. With a blend of jasmine, pittosporum on the top, lys, orange blossom blend the heart notes while other woody notes touch the base along with madonna lily.

“As I wish to provoke an emotion” Nagel told Dazed Digital“I share my emotions in the perfumes that I create. My desire was to translate in a perfume all the lives and all the moods of this garden. That’s what I want to share because through the perfume this secret garden is finally open to you.”
