KIMBERLY MCDONALD SET TO OPEN A STORE IN ATLANTA

Jewellery brand Kimberly McDonald will open a boutique in the Buckhead Village district of Atlanta next month.
Located on Bolling Way between Christian Louboutin and Moncler, the boutique will be the second brick-and-mortar location for the brand, joining their L.A. store at Collective for Fred Segal on Sunset Boulevard. Kimberly McDonald has created an undeniably unique experience in her boutique that will showcase her work with bespoke fine jewellery pieces along with one-of-a-kind home décor and accessories.
“Having lived in Atlanta after college, in fact in Buckhead much of that time, it is so exciting for me to return home to open my e-commerce business here as well as my own store in Buckhead Village District. It’s exciting to see the changes in the overall area over the past 20 years, especially this complex which house some of the most reputable luxury brands in the world; now including my own. I love the sophisticated yet eco-conscious direction in which Atlanta is evolving.”
The boutique will be wrapped in McDonald’s custom wallcoverings, a collection that reflects her love of rocks and a partnership with Jamie Adler of Phyllis Morris. The collection combines the organic beauty and colour of Kimberly’s favourite stones in rich sophisticated colour pairings, metallic finishes and graphic patterns signature to the McDonald aesthetic. Shoppers can expect an expanded version of McDonald’s aesthetic of the juxtaposition between rough and organic and refined and luxurious. For her signature resort and loungewear, McDonald partners with an exclusive Italian manufacturer whose clients also include Gucci, YSL and Armani.
McDonald’s designs have been worn by celebrities including Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Cindy Crawford, Victor Cruz, Carrie Underwood, Vanessa Williams, Amy Adams, Cameron Diaz, Steph Curry and her collections can be found at Bergdorf Goodman, multiple Four Seasons Resorts around the world, and more.
